TESTING FACILITY AT WORKS:
- Mechanical Run Test at Rated / Reduced Speed
- Performance Test at Rated / Reduced Speed
- Tests are carried out as per IS 4894-1987 / AMCA 210 / BS 848 for Centrifugal Fans; and IS 3588-1987 for Axial Flow Fans.
- A variable resistance is created at inlet / outlet of the Fan under test and various characteristic points are obtained and converted to the site condition (Density). These points are plotted to obtain the actual duty condition would be available at site for the given System Resistance.

TESTS BEING CONDUCTED AT SITE:
- A Performance Test is conducted at customer's site to determine the Flow, the Input Power and the Pressure rise across the Fan at actual operating condition.
- Before such test is carried out, the Fan and all of its accessories are checked for their proper functioning.
- Suction & Supply lines at inlet / outlet are properly checked to establish that the airflow is substantially axial, symmetrical and free from swirl.
- The actual duty conditions are then plotted against the Estimated Performance Curves to determine the variations.
